• Always start with clean nails. Remove any old polish and residue using acetone-free nail polish remover.
• Shape your nails using a nail file to achieve your desired length and shape. When wearing luxury press-on nails, it’s best to keep your nails as short as possible. When filing, make sure to gently file in one direction to prevent splitting and damage.
• Push back your cuticles using a cuticle pusher or an orangewood stick (if you have a Bella Luna Nails press-on set, this was included in your prep kit). This will create a clean canvas for your press-on nails to adhere to.
• Buff your nails lightly with a buffer block to create a slightly rough surface. This will help the press-on nails adhere better and last longer.

Follow these steps for a flawless application:

1. Clean your nails once again to remove any oils or residue.
2. Arrange your nails according to your left and right hand and by the finger (i.e. pinky, ring, middle, etc).
3. Apply a thin layer of nail glue or adhesive tabs to your natural nails. Nail glue provides a stronger bond, while adhesive tabs offer a temporary option that is easy to remove.
4. Align the press-on nail with your natural nail and press down firmly for a few seconds to ensure a secure bond.
5. *DISCLAIMER: ideally you’ll have purchased a sizing kit so you don’t have to do this but in case you do, make sure not to skip step 6* File and shape the press-on nails to your desired length and shape. You can also file the cuticle area for a more perfect fit.
6. Finish off with a top coat to seal the edges and provide extra protection against chipping.
